It's been a while and the New Years was busy busy. But this weekend, I had the opportunity to attend a BIG 10 showdown between Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, and Northwestern. These events are so exciting and it is that excitement that I am trying to capture. The mix of emotion and athleticism splashing around in the water, which by itself is a great element to photograph. It is incredible to be able to capture these guys putting it all on the line by using their sharply honed skills.
The diving was also incredible. I had a opportunity to go top the top of the 10 M platform and to believe that these athletes actually do a HANDSTAND on the edge is crazy. I hope that I have captured not only their aesthetic athleticism but also their bravery.
It is nice to be switching gears and taking action photography. I have just been asked to take photographs at the USA Swimming Grand Prix in Ann Arbor.
