These days everyone is trying to figure out how to give a gift that comes from the heart more than the wallet. This Christmas shoot was a present from son to mother. Just think that after all the years of dragging her son to get holiday pictures taken, it is this year that Peggy's son, Mark, drug her to a photo shoot! We used a favorite location of mine - the Arb. I allowed Mark and Peggy to enjoy each other's company in this beautiful place while capturing the moments they were creating on film. The Arb is such a beautiful place that it is almost impossible to have a bad shoot there. Again we had a mixture of posed and candid shots. I also took a couple of action shots as I caught them in the middle of a full blown snowball fight. In the end it seemed that the shoot itself turned out to be just as much of a present as the photos themselves. More than getting great professional photos taken, it is about spending time with the ones you love and having that time artistically captured. Until next time...
